After being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, it received overwhelming support from readers, and in the 1995 New Year’s March/April combined issue, in which the magazine achieved an unprecedented maximum circulation of 6.53 million copies, all pages were featured in full color at the beginning of the magazine. “SLAM DUNK” is a national manga representing Jump.

　“PLUS / SLAM DUNK ILLUSTRATIONS 2”, a collection of over 130 illustrations from “SLAM DUNK”, will be released on April 3, 2020. This is the second “SLAM DUNK” illustration collection, following “INOUE TAKEHIKO ILLUSTRATIONS”, which was published in June 1997 and is still in print.
