Tamakin Hobbies Shopee store was founded around February 2021 as we needed an extra source of income during the height of the pandemic.

Although we’ve managed Tamakin Hobbies as a temporary shop and never had any major business expansion plan in mind, the continued high demand for a dedicated artbook and doujinshi shop kept us afloat and very busy for a long while. As artbook and doujin collectors ourselves, we’re more than happy to help our fellows to grow their own collection. Seems like we can’t quit any time soon (ง ื▿ ื)ว

Since then, we’ve also started to join local Anime & Cosplay conventions held in Metro Manila during mid-2022.

As of January 2023, Tamakinhobbies.com is our latest shop improvement that we wanted to offer to our followers as a means to make it easy to announce new pre-order books, especially for major events like Comiket, and to catalog a lot of already published artbooks readily available to order at Japan.
